On Saturday, May 8, 1-2:30 p.m. at the Central Resource Library, meet Christine Taylor-Butler and Andrea Warren, nationally recognized authors of informational books for children! They will talk about their experiences writing nonfiction for children from kindergarten to eighth grade and share their newest books, Sacred Mountain: Everest and Under Siege!: Three Children at the Civil War Battle for Vicksburg. Reception with refreshments and a book sale and signing will follow the program. Beginning April 19, you can register at all neighborhood libraries and online to win a copy of their books to be autographed at the event!
