Celebrate America on Constitution Day

Feature image.

Constitution Day is Sept. 17, 2010. You can celebrate by entering a contest and showing how the Constitution affects you. Use colored pencils, markers, crayons, or paints to design a handmade poster showing how you and your family benefit from the U.S. Constitution (including the Bill of Rights and the other amendments). Any child K-12 is welcome to participate.

The local poster contest winner gets a certificate and two copies of his or her poster. Entries must be postmarked by Oct. 1, 2010. Winners will be announced on the Gov Doc Kids Group website on Election Day, Nov. 3, 2010.

You can get more information on the contest and Constitution Day at this website. You can download entry forms right here on JoCoKids.
